2015 Pride In Practice Workplace Inclusion Conference Highlights
In early December 2015 Pride in Diversity was extremely proud to present the 2015 Pride in Practice Workplace Inclusion conference at Rydges World Square, Sydney.
2015 was the first year that the conference was extended to a 3 day format which was well-utilised by an extensive list of speakers over a wide range of topic areas and provided significant opportunities for knowledge sharing and professional networking.
Speaker highlights of the Pride in Practice 2015 conference included: Todd Sears, Founder and Principal, Out Leadership, Fern Ngai, CEO, Community Business Hong Kong, Masa Yanagisawa, Director, Deutsche Bank Japan and Heather Price, Symmetra.
Key to the success of this year’s conference was the variety of sessions targeted to our conference delegates, including Government services, higher education, professional services, recruitment and HR. The feedback was extremely positive regarding the movie screening of Gayby Baby and the networking drinks, supported by Accenture.
The Conference hashtag, #PrideinPractice, was trending on Twitter over the 3 days, with many delegates tweeting and using Instagram. People following the conference joined the conversation remotely and participated by following the conference highlights.
